1. Describe the working of Abacus.

Ans. The Abacus is divided into two parts, the top of the abacus is called heaven and the bottom is called the earth. It has 13 vertical rods with 7 beads on each rod. There is a horizontal divider in the frame which divide 7 beads into 5 beads in bottom and 2 beads in top.

2. Who is known as the father of computers?

Ans. Charles Babbage is known as the father of computers.

3. Who invented Integrated Circuit?

Ans. Integrated Circuits were invented by Jack St. Clair Kilby and Robert Noyce.

4. What is Microprocessor?

Ans. Microprocessor is a single electronic chip that could do all the processing of a full-scale computer.

5. List two features of the fifth generation computers.

Ans. There are two features of the fifth generation computers:-

1. Machines are based on Artificial Intelligence or AI.

2. Capable of understanding human speech, for example, Cortana, Siri and with surrounding.
